Sustain Guitar Autonomous Toning as Controller Test

This is a test of the new control system I have been building for the Sustain Guitar implemented using an "AudioPint" - which is the easy to use, open-source, embedded Linux audio processor that our Invent Music club has been developing at the MIT Media Lab. Shortly, the controller will be integrated with the sustain guitar's amplifier to make it road-worthy.

Makes for kind of a nice ambient sound sculpture too, huh?

Stephane Wrembel plays the Sustain Guitar

Stephane Wrembel is a friend as well as being an amazing virtuoso Gypsy-Jazz guitar player. He recently completed a tour and album with David Grisman. Here is a video of him playing the magneto-acoustic sustain-guitar at the "MIT Media Lab during our recent Invent Music "build day."

Sustain Guitar in Action

Here's our hero, Ben Vigoda, demonstrating his invention to the world.

With a little gypsy jazz on the side.

Go baby, go.
